"ground zero mosque"?? No - not at all. Check out these "ground zero strip clubs" which must be ok with Cariboo Barbie, Glenn Beck and that crew of nitwits:

Here is the abandoned buildings they want to convert to a cultural center for the neighborhood, no different than the old concept of a local YMCA or something like that with restaurants, swim pool, church, and much more:

Pretty threatening thing to refurbish an old retail space over two blocks from the World Trade Center, eh?

Of course Mizz "half a governor" Palin and the rest of her loony bin cousins are just fine with various horse betting parlors and these strip clubs.

I have wished for a leader here in America who had the sense to stand up and LOUDLY PROCLAIM support for tolerance, intelligence,  civil rights, and who would ACTUALLY help regular Americans deal with the incredible weight of corporate oppression in America, but evidently that is not to be...shame.

As you can see, the proposed community center is over in a completely different neighborhood from the site of the destroyed WTC. ALSO, it is only some 800 odd feet closer than ANOTHER mosque. In New York City, there are millions and millions of Muslims, millions and millions of Christians, millions and millions of Jews, and millions of other religeous stripes. Sara Palin or any other whack job really has NO BUSINESS BUTTING INTO NEW YORK CITY BUILDING CODES. WTF, THEY GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO?

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
