News organisations and government STILL go to the bloody, murderous, hatchet-man called John Negroponte for opinions and advice. Evidently, President Obama thinks this guy and what he has wrought in Central America are just fine. What do you think?
The bodies of slain activists are piling up in Honduras. While it's

John Negroponte, former ambassador to Iraq under Geoge W. Bush, was
ambassador to Honduras 1981-1985. As filmmaker Paul Laverty wrote in
the July 2005 issue of The Progressive, “a prizewinning
series in the Baltimore Sun in 1995 demonstrated that Negroponte knew
about the torture and murders that Honduras’s Battalion 3-16, trained
by the CIA, was carrying out. He then covered them up by whitewashing
reports back to Congress about Honduras’s human rights record.”GO.READ
I FIND IT UNCONCIONABLE THAT ANY NEWS AGENCY OR GOVERNMENT AGENCY WOULD CONSULT WITH A PERSON LIKE THIS. ARE WE A PROGRESSIVE, CARING SOCIETY OR ARE WE REALLY ONLY INTERESTED IN WHAT IS GOOD FOR OUR INDUSTRIES, AND THUS THOSE THAT RUN THEM?
As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
