OH! DID I SAY FUCK THE REPUBLICANS? WHY, YES I DID - FUCK RAHM EMANUEL WHERE IT HURTS WHILE YOU ARE AT IT:

OBAMA FAIL
The Senate is cutting a deal to kill the public option by giving the President the "trigger" that his Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, has been fighting for since he took office.
Shoveling trillions of dollars into "too big to fail" insurance companies is not the change I voted for. The failure to establish a public option to control medical costs and increase competition is President Obama's failure alone.

Using taxpayer dollars to increase private health insurance profits is not the change I voted for.

Agreed. The degree of how bad this health bill is if ever passed and signed will determine just how screwed we really are. It's a bunch already and there more on the way!!

Hey there OF. Thanks for stopping by. It's sounding like folks will be able to get the health care they can afford, which aint a real big change is it? But, as you say, we will see how it shakes out.
Is that uggly-ass sign still up in town?

Kieth Olbermann had a segment on it. Even had the tool who owns it on his show. It's cold here at the beach in Washington too. East wind coming down the columbia river gorge...12 degrees last nite - unheard of.

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
