Gen. McChrystal angling for new civilian job? Mr. President, it's time to cut McChrystal/McArthur loose for leaking national security documents (among other things):

"...Since the leakage of his confidential report, General McChrystal has seen fit to make provocative and controversial public statements in a high profile appearance in London...startling amount of naivete concerning the culture of Afghanistan...When President Truman realized that General MacArthur was insubordinate, he dismissed him..."

McChrystal has gotten a total pass on his involvement with the Pat Tillman cover-up, as well as for his involvement in torture. This guy is used to getting away with anything and everything he feels like doing. No wonder he doesn’t care what his boss, the president, thinks about him.
