The Harvard MBAs in the auto executive suites wouldn't know a good car if they got run over by one.

The Harvard MBAs in the auto executive suites wouldn't know a good car if they got run over by one. And ultimately it's the cars which are going to save GM and Chrysler. This is a good news story, and I urge you to go read it.

I think GM and Chrysler need to GET BUSY building light rail, high speed trains, alternative energy generators and storage...there is so much that this idle trained, skilled work force and manufacturing space could be used for! If WE own these corporations now, and we know what is needed NOW and into the future, LET'S GEAR UP AND GET BUSY.

Yea, y'know, YEARS ago when I started out in the tugboat enginerooms, you came up through being wiper, assistant, second chief, then chief. When we first started getting maritime college "chief engineers", we called em "college pukes". I see these fuckers trying to run an automobile factory in the exact same light. Why not give someone like goddamned Michael Moore a shot? It seems pretty OBVIOUS that most of the old business plans of the past are NOT what is needed, dosen't it?

ANYHOW, sorry about running my mouth here, I just get so damned angry...thanks for stopping by.

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
