Outsourcing Torture: ONLY The Bush Crew Would Do Something LIke This

TORTURE AS BUSINESS? OF COURSE, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE BUSH CREW!

"...it has become clear that the CIA, ironically enough, outsourced its torture practices in interrogations during the darkest years of the Bush administration. It entrusted the development and supervision of these interrogations to a private security firm run by James Mitchell and his partner, Bruce Jessen.

The two psychologists, who had never even conducted an interrogation before -- in other words, two amateurs -- were largely responsible for developing the CIA's prisoner interrogation program..."

REMEMBER BUSH SAYING "HECK OF A JOB BROWNIE"?

TO GET THE NEWS, YOU ALMOST HAVE TO START READING FORIEGN PRESS. AMERICAN PRESS IS MOSTLY OWNED BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO OWN WALL STREET, CONGRESS, ETC ETC.

THIS FROM ALTERNET:
"Attorney General Eric Holder said definitively: “If somebody was tortured to death, clearly a crime would have occurred.”

My confidence in our Justice Department and American justice system was redeemed today while watching and listening to Attorney General Holder. There is now no doubt we are on the proper road toward re-establishing a nation that protects our citizens and respects human rights.

As the New York Times reported yesterday, Lawrence Wilkerson, the former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, testified to Congress that more than 100 detainees died in U.S. custody in Iraq and Afghanistan. CBS is reporting that “roughly a quarter of those deaths have been investigated as possible abuse by U.S. personnel.”

Contrary to the story told when the Abu Ghraib photos emerged, we now have sworn testimony to the House of Representatives and the Senate of a systematic and deliberate approval of abusive techniques."

THERE WILL BE INVESTIGATIONS. DONE DEAL. PAT BUCHANAN, BOSS LIMBAUGH AND THE REST BETTER JUST GET USED TO IT. THEIR GUYS ARE CRIMINALS.

They are certainly COMPLICIT in the lack of knowlege in the general populace, wouldn't you say?

A few of the corporate wheels need to swing as well.

Makes me as much sad as angry when I hear people blaming those being foreclosed on, losing their jobs, etc for the bad times falling around them!
Sounds like there are a LOT of investigations going on, and I hope for more and more as there was so much criminality in the last 'administration'.

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
