BAD if North Korea imprisons journalists - OK if USA does it? WTF?

'Splain me the difference? North Korea and Iran (among others) are supposedly threats to "freedom" or some shit? Yet America holds people like this cameraman from Reuters for months and even YEARS, as in the case of some in Bagram, Gitmo and other places. Some of these dangerous guys were simply turned in by their neighbors for the reward money when the Bush Crew was prancing around with hundred dollar bills in bundles handing out money.

I mean, Obama's got a LOT to clean up, that's true, but wasn't he supposed to be the super duper walk-n-chew-gum-at-the-same-time guy?

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
