When I was 17....
In Camas, Washington, you could work on your car in the street...days gone...I still think the '59 Chevrolet is one of the swankiest auto designs ever. ---------having our very own shah in Iran didn't hurt either...gas was cheap 42 years ago. I blew the rearend out racing home from a Paul Revere and the Raiders show at the Division Street Corral in Portland, Oregon. I ended up in the service for 6 years all together soon after taking this picture.
