The Bu$hite$ and Big Coal have come up with a term and idea that appeals to way too many of us liberal elites. Something that I think is dangerous. *
In the FIRST place, who in HELL believes anything that comes out of the mouths of EITHER of those groups? Big Coal tells us that mountaintop removal and ground-water ruination is good science, and well the Bu$h Crime Gang is liable to say just about any goddamned thing, aren't they now?
So the idea here, is to put a big 'ol loop in the coal and oil burning power plant smokestacks and head 'em underground where the carbon pollutants (global climate change, emphysema, etc.) get trapped and stored for time beyond millenia. Evidently Sweden has this technology because in Sweden carbon release is TAXED. Whether that carbon is leaking right back out into the atmosphere is unknown. Here in the land of the Bu$hite$ it is nothing more than "green talk" to pave the way for more and more coal fired plants, and more dirty dirty profits.
Meanwhile, the clean energy industry (solar, wind, wave, geothermal) will keep growing very fast at exponential rates, their costs will keep going down and the efficiency of their production units (unlimited?, solar panels, hydrokinetic buoys, Gorlov helical turbines, geothermal heat pumps) will keep going up.

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
