The Bush Gang tells us that our wars in Afghanistan and especially Iraq are to "protect our way of life". I have a few problems with that:

Is 'our way of life' some sort of guaranteed right to own and drive huge urban four wheel drive (would an efficient station wagon do?) automobiles that use gigantic amounts of raw materials stolen from other countries around the world, and paid for by death and destruction in those lands? By spewing carbon dioxide into the only atmosphere we all have? How many soldiers have to die so the Bush Gang can own the oil to run that huge car?

Is 'our way of life' this horrible era of 'corporate criminals' who break the laws of the land with impugnity because they KNOW that they own the process that would convict and imprison them?

I can't help but totally laugh out loud when I hear people from the Bush Gang and thier supporters yakking about 'bringing democracy and christian values' to others around the world. GIVE ME A BREAK.

As Jim Hightower explains it, is that “the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans possess more net worth today than the bottom 90 percent of us combined. Worse, these privileged few and their political henchmen have structured a new economic ‘normal’ of long-term joblessness, low wages, no benefits or worker rights, miserly public services, and a steadily widening chasm between the rich and the rest of us.” We must restore sanity to this nation.
